I’m passionate about creating a better environment for the next generation.

I got into public relations in London over 20 years ago, working across professional services, financial and corporate sectors at GFK Martin Hamblin, Citigate Dewe Rogerson (PR Consultancy), and Ernst & Young.

Returning to New Zealand, I worked across insurance and technology sectors at IAG – Insurance Australia Group, and IBM – Global Business Services, across Australasia from New Zealand.

I started working with NSPR in 2018, after my two children started school and Kindy, and I have not looked back. Based on the North Shore of Auckland, I feel very privileged to work with an incredible team of talented and supportive wāhine.

For me, working for NSPR is an easy decision as I love their kaupapa (purpose) of placing health, family, and connection first in every decision they make, and that we all genuinely care about each other and our clients. NSPR empowers me to successfully juggle keeping fit and caring for my family whilst working, without any of these priorities suffering.

I’m particularly proud of NSPR becoming B-Corp in Dec 2022, and I love that we work with B-Corp companies and clients who have a similar purpose of making the world a better place.

My greatest strength is working on thought leadership and sustainability PR campaigns, helping businesses lead on issues that matter to New Zealand and the world, and I thrive seeing their communications have a positive impact with media and stakeholders.

With a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies majoring in Communication Management from Massey University, I have strong strategic PR planning skills and I’m known to be a bit of an idea hamster: a very creative person; someone who is always able to come up with ideas.

I feel my big heart, mixed with my creativity, make a powerful combo so that I can significantly help others and make the world a better (and more beautiful) place.

In my spare time, I will seize any opportunity for fun and adventure – mountain biking, paddleboarding, tennis, rock climbing, hiking, bodyboarding, swimming, you name it and I’ll be up for it. But I also balance this with the need for quiet time – walking our dog, Marley, yoga, pilates, reading (lots of) fiction novels, painting, singing, and playing the piano. I also try to carve out as much time as possible to have fun with our two children.
